This is the Free Wilders 2.0! We're off AGAIN on a journey around the country to raise awareness and money for our charities - Rewilding Britain and MIND - all in the most body positive way!
Nature connections and mental health are everything, looking after the nature around us is not only key to our future survival but essential for our mental health and wellbeing. Why naked? Well, to get your attention for the causes and charities, of course! But we're all naturists aren't we? At least at some point of each day. But society teaches us all that there is something so horrible about us that it must be hidden away for fear of humiliation and shame. We challenge that! No part of a human body is intrinsically shameful or offensive. Whilst public nudity is unusual, it isn't illegal as long as the naked person is well behaved and just going about their business. If you see us ride by you'll notice that we smile and wave, and most people wave back. After they've stopped laughing hysterically, that is!
Last years ride saw our team of 4 cover 1000 miles from John O Groats to Lands End. This year we are a team of two on one tandem bike and we're riding through multiple towns and cities on a route from the North West to Dorset via Manchester, Sheffield, Nottingham, Oxford, to the British Naturism 'Everybody' body positive festival before returning through Bristol and up along the Welsh border back to the North West. Naked. We will blog about each days ride on our Free Wilders Facebook and Twitter page.... check and see if your town or city is on our target list!
